Predict smart.

The PressX Tournament is a free, skill-predominant prediction contest built for fun and skill. You compete with a no-cash-value Virtual Balance and never deposit, wager, stake, or risk your own money to take part. No purchase or payment is necessary to enter or win. The Tournament is operated by PressX S.A., a sociedad anonima organized under the laws of the Republic of Panama. Prizes are real, so winning may carry tax, identity-verification, sanctions-screening, and eligibility obligations that are explained below and set out in full in the Official Rules and Terms, which control. The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis; full warranty disclaimers, assumption of risk, and limitations of liability are set out in the Terms, which control. This page is general information only, it is not legal, tax, or financial advice.

No deposit, no wager, no purchase

You compete with a Virtual Balance, a free, in-Service scoring credit, not currency. It has no cash or monetary value, is not money, a deposit, stored value, a security, or property, and cannot be bought, deposited, withdrawn, redeemed, transferred, exchanged, or converted into cash or a prize.
You never deposit, wager, stake, or risk your own money to take part. Entry requires no purchase, payment, or consideration of any kind, and there is nothing for you to pay to take part.
No purchase or payment is necessary to enter or win. Ranking is determined predominantly by skill, knowledge, and judgment, never by spending. Sponsor: PressX S.A.

Prizes are a separate award based on tournament ranking under the objective mechanic in the Official Rules, your Virtual Balance is never exchanged for, redeemed for, or converted into a prize.
Real prizes may carry tax, identity-verification, sanctions-screening, and other obligations that are the winner's responsibility wherever they are resident. See 'Prizes carry real obligations' below and the Official Rules and Terms.

What the Tournament is, and is not

PressX is designed and operated as a free, skill-predominant contest of the type sometimes run as a no-purchase-necessary promotion. It is not intended to constitute gambling, betting, or wagering; a lottery; a security, investment, or collective investment scheme; a derivative, swap, futures, option, or event contract; money transmission or a money-services business; or financial, investment, trading, legal, or tax advice. How any activity is characterized under the mandatory law of a user's location is determined by that law; PressX manages this risk through eligibility and geo-restriction.
PressX rewards research, judgment, and discipline, but outcomes depend materially on real-world events outside any participant's control, and even strong analysis can be wrong. Predicting real-world events always involves uncertainty; outcomes are never guaranteed, and past performance does not predict future results.
Nothing on PressX constitutes an offer, solicitation, recommendation, or signal to buy, sell, or hold any financial instrument. In-Service predictions and prices are simulated for the Tournament only and have no value outside it.
Nothing on this page constitutes financial, investment, betting, legal, or tax advice, and no fiduciary or advisory relationship is created. This information does not limit any non-waivable consumer or statutory rights you may have under the mandatory law of your country of residence.

Prizes carry real obligations

Prizes are as specified in the Official Rules. Winning under the objective, rank-based mechanic in the Official Rules establishes an opportunity to be considered for a prize; a validly-won prize becomes payable once you satisfy the verification and compliance conditions in the Official Rules, and PressX's discretion applies only to that verification and compliance gating, not to whether a validly-won prize is paid.
You are solely responsible for determining, paying, and reporting any and all taxes, levies, and duties arising from any prize, wherever you are resident or otherwise liable. The value of any prize is its value at the time of award. Where PressX is legally required to act as a withholding or paying agent and to withhold or deduct, it will do so; otherwise the winner is solely responsible for all taxes, and PressX may require tax or other documentation where legally required.
Identity and age verification (KYC) is required before any prize is awarded, together with sanctions screening.
PressX does not provide tax, legal, or financial advice; consider consulting your own adviser about any prize. PressX may, in its sole discretion and without liability, substitute a prize of equal or greater value, change the form or timing of any prize, impose reasonable claim and expiry deadlines, and modify, suspend, or cancel the prize program prospectively, in each case without negating a prize already validly won and verified. Full prize terms are set out in the Official Rules and Terms, which control.

Keep it healthy

Decide a session length before you start, 20 to 30 minutes is a sensible default, and stop when you hit it.
Take regular breaks and keep the Tournament in balance with sleep, work, relationships, and time offline.
Take part for the enjoyment and the challenge, never to chase a rank or out of pressure or boredom.
Watch for warning signs: staying on longer than intended, irritability away from the Tournament, or it simply stops being fun. If any appear, step away.

You can request a cool-off period any time by emailing support@pressx.com. We aim to action requests reasonably promptly (a target, not a guarantee). In-product self-exclusion controls may be added as the beta develops.
Want longer? You can ask us to pause or close your account at support@pressx.com. We will action reasonable requests, except where we are required to retain certain information to comply with legal, tax, anti-money-laundering, sanctions, fraud-prevention, or dispute-resolution obligations.
Where we operate a cool-off, we generally will not lift it before it expires; this is by design to support your decision.
While a marketing cool-off or opt-out is active, we honour it as required by applicable data-protection law and will stop sending you promotional messages (subject to reasonable processing time). We may still send service or transactional messages about your account. See the Privacy Policy for opt-out mechanics and your data rights.

Eligibility, age, and where allowed

The Service is available only to natural persons who are at least 18 years of age (or the higher minimum age that applies where you live, if higher). PressX is not directed to children. Separately, as a matter of data protection, we do not knowingly collect personal data from minors below the age of consent under applicable data-protection law.
Identity and age verification is required before any prize is awarded, and we may verify age and eligibility at registration. By using the Service you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements.
The Service is not offered to, and may not be accessed from, any jurisdiction where participation would require a license, registration, or authorization that PressX S.A. does not hold (which currently includes the United States, among others, see the Official Rules), or would otherwise be unlawful, or any jurisdiction subject to comprehensive sanctions or embargo. The current list of excluded jurisdictions is maintained in the Official Rules.
If you believe someone under the minimum age, or below the applicable age of data-protection consent, has registered, contact privacy@pressx.com (for underage-data deletion) or support@pressx.com, and we will act.

Sanctions, AML, and prohibited jurisdictions

PressX S.A. maintains and enforces an anti-money-laundering and counter-terrorist-financing program and screens participants, and, before any payout, prospective winners, against applicable sanctions and embargo lists, including those of the United Nations, the European Union, and the Republic of Panama, and any other lists PressX is required to apply. These obligations cannot be waived.
The Service is not available to any person located in, ordinarily resident in, or organized under the laws of any sanctioned or embargoed jurisdiction, or to any person on an applicable sanctions list. No prize is ever released to such a person.
PressX may refuse, delay, freeze, withhold, reduce, void, or reverse any prize, where awarding or paying it would violate applicable law or sanctions, and may report matches to the relevant authorities as required by law.
Providing false eligibility information, or attempting to access PressX from a prohibited jurisdiction (including by VPN, proxy, or circumvention), is a breach of these guidelines and the Terms and may result in disqualification. The Official Rules and Terms govern these requirements.

Fair competition and prize integrity

Competing smart means competing fairly. Bots, scripts, automation, collusion, multi-accounting, and other manipulation are prohibited.
PressX may, to the extent permitted by applicable law, suspend or disqualify accounts, void rankings, and withhold, void, or forfeit prizes for fraud, cheating, abuse, multiple accounts, ineligibility, sanctions exposure, or failed verification.
One account per person unless the Official Rules expressly allow otherwise.
Your account and access are a personal, limited, non-transferable, revocable license, not a property right. Prize forfeiture and disqualification conditions are set out in full in the Official Rules and Terms.

Your rights and your local law

You are solely responsible for ensuring that your access to and use of the Service is lawful in your jurisdiction, and for complying with all laws applicable to you, including tax, financial, gambling, and data-protection laws. Nothing here removes any non-waivable consumer or statutory right you have under the mandatory law of your country of residence.
PressX S.A. processes personal data in accordance with Law 81 of 26 March 2019 of the Republic of Panama and its regulating Executive Decree, under the supervision of ANTAI (Autoridad Nacional de Transparencia y Acceso a la Informacion). Where applicable data-protection law, including the EU/UK GDPR for users in those regions, and Panama's Law 81, grants you rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction, portability, and withdrawal of consent, we honour those rights as required; erasure and account closure remain subject to records we must retain for legal, tax, AML, sanctions, fraud-prevention, or dispute-resolution obligations. We also extend these rights to other users as a global standard.
You can exercise these rights, including objecting to marketing and requesting a marketing suppression for a cool-off, as described in the Privacy Policy. If you ever feel your participation may be becoming a problem, you can request a cool-off at support@pressx.com and may also wish to use the resources below.

Open to eligible participants who are at least 18 (higher where local law requires). Identity and age verification are required before any prize is awarded. The Service is not offered to persons in any jurisdiction where participation would require a license PressX does not hold (which currently includes the United States, among others) or any excluded or sanctioned jurisdiction. A current list of excluded jurisdictions is maintained in the Official Rules and Terms, which control.

Rules, Terms & precedence
This page is general guidance. If anything here conflicts with the Official Rules, Terms of Service, or Privacy Policy, those documents control, including the full warranty disclaimers, assumption of risk, and limitations of liability. These guidelines and any dispute relating to them are governed by the laws of the Republic of Panama, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules; any dispute is resolved by confidential, binding, individual arbitration seated in Panama City, Panama, administered under the rules of the Centro de Conciliacion y Arbitraje de Panama (CeCAP) [or the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC)], conducted in [Spanish/English]. You and PressX waive any right to participate in a class, collective, consolidated, or representative action and, to the extent applicable, any right to a jury trial, except where the mandatory law of your country of residence makes pre-dispute arbitration or a class waiver unenforceable for consumers, in which case that mandatory law applies and you retain any non-waivable rights, including home-forum rights.
